The Squash section meets every Tuesday in the Van der Merwe Center in Allschwil.
Since the beginning of the season the section trains together with the professional coach Dominique Chiquet (former Swiss Squash Nr. 1, juniors Swiss master, in the top world rankings) who coaches all Novartis teams.
It is also possible to play 'free' without a coach. Besides the free training, the section gives also the possibility to be member of the van der Merwe Club for a reduced price. In addition one can get also subsidized tickets to play outside the trainings.
Every year we organize a tournament as well as some other event, e.g. a ninepins evening with the family. Ambitious players who would like to participate in championships, can join the already existing interclub-teams, or in case of enough demand, they can organize a new club team.
In the section all strength categories are represented (from beginners to very good players). That makes it easier for members to find equal play partners.
We are always pleased to motivate new people to join us in this sport.
